OBJ Wins The OBJ Trade

The biggest NFL trade in recent memory took place earlier this week when the New York Giants sent arguably the most polarizing player in the league to the Cleveland Browns for a 1, 3, and Jabril Peppers. OBJ is low key one of my favorite players in the league (Dallas Cowboy Fan blasphemy I know) and I really believe hes been misunderstood and misjudged his entire career. His post touchdown celebrations, sideline tantrums, off the field drama make him the personification of a "Diva Wide Receiver." However, his talent is undeniable and what he brings on the field is elite playmaking ability. The Giants felt like he was a distraction and considering they are in rebuild mode due to poor drafting, poor coaching hires, and idiotic GM moves, this decision was a no brained for the front office. OBJ now gets to play with his best friend and college teammate Jarvis Landry not to mention a young core of Baker Mayfield, David Njoku, Bradley Chubb, Denzel Ward, and Myles Garrett. He can be the face of one of the greatest turnarounds in NFL history. I'm praying for a Dallas/Cleveland Super Bowl. The Giants got some picks and a solid player in Peppers (fellow East Orange Native). But OBJ gets a 2nd chance at being an icon. Its safe to say he won this trade!
